I liked the idea he has 1 wing (The accessory clip) because the other was ripped away. Julius is an ok snooty dragon flamingo wot. Colour style test. Sketches 1st way I decided to colour them, had I made a comic.  3 years old?… it failed epically lol. Going back to roots <3 Gothic grey-scale, dark blue. Shading erase for shape/lighting, blend and darken. Colour overlay. The style is pretty and mood setting perfect for vampires, but difficult and time draining. I have learn some new things so that it takes less, but  can be a mess if tampered with wrongly. Instead of erasing for hair I paint it, so … XP I really want to use this on them :’C But so frustrating. Touchy on lighting > Julius eyes lol. Oops, too much darkness around his eye and pencil neck. XD Middle panel below was a flop because said issues, so lighter. See above for hair fail. He’s not slept in 100 years and likes to take crack constantly it seems. :T Tried different hues, flashback sepia brown <3 Preferred but I’ll stick to the right. Middle hue fails. Gothic grey-scale, dark blue. Shading erase for shape/lighting, blend and darken. Colour overlay.

Can’t find something I like most, it seems complete. For once. Inspired like hell after the worst cold …which usually I feel pretty good afterwards. Definitely planned this way more than most works. I should prolly use the technique more often. Different colour style, sticking to few shades to get it right and learn more. Was going for this look on Izzy in the last picture, failed and fell to the pretty colour rape. CX 4 hours of main work the rest were nitpicking.
